Part of the Labours of Love, Intentional Worlds event.

"Labours of Love, Intentional Worlds" commemorates the laborious and resilient processes necessary to create the worlds—real or fictive—that we dream of inhabiting. History, landscapes and artifacts of memory, and representations of human, animal, and alien actors are symbols of resistance, telling stories that reformulate hegemonic narratives. The exhibition memorializes intentional healing, reimagination, and deliberate acts of care.

Places remembered and places imagined project into now, offering to be observed and interrogated. Examining the intricacies of remembrance and transmission of knowledge, the artworks in this exhibition speak to one another and share thoughts about how to continue into time in the ways we desire.
